Pamela Colman-Smith designed and co-created with AE Waite the most famous tarot deck in the world, The Rider – Waite deck. Never credited (because she was born a woman) for her contribution she died penniless in the bleak, windswept North Cornish Town of Bude. Along with fellow contributor Julian Vayne, a time capsule was buried on the cliffs above the town to act as a seed to celebrate her life and work. A spell to enable her contribution to magickal art to be recognised and found by future archaeologists. Lets begin by re-naming the Rider Waite Tarot Deck as the Colman-Smith – Waite Deck.
